The world has plunged into an apocalyptic nightmare where mankind is on the brink of extinction and the undead are taking over. Nobody is quite sure what caused this horrible change or how to stop it. Humanity now exists in small pockets across the globe struggling to survive.
William Frankenstein
William Frankenstein - The monster from Mary Shelley’s literary classic Frankenstein. After the final duel with his maker at the end of the book the monster adopted the name of the half brother whose life he took and set off to travel the globe. William continued his quest for knowledge by reading classic literature and keeping up with current news yet remained on the fringes of society for fear of not being accepted. Fast-forward to present today where his yearning to be welcomed by mankind is greater then ever and in a bizarre twist of fate he himself may be the key to it’s survival.
Romero
Zombies (Romero’s) – Mankind has been infected by something that has transformed the dead into mindless ghouls who crave flesh. Referred to as “Romero’s” a slang term applied to them due to their similarities to the creatures that inhabited George A. Romero’s classic zombie films.
Cackler
Cacklers - These creatures are more animalistic in nature and appearance then the wandering Romero’s. Typically traveling in packs they can be heard letting off a frightening hyena like laugh which is how they got the name Cacklers. Nobody knows where or how these creatures came about but they threaten the existence of all living and unliving creatures on the planet.
Angel Eyes
Angel Eyes – The leader of a nomadic biker gang who’s mantra is to live each day as if it their last. Angel Eyes takes whatever he wants and does not care who he has to kill to get it. A cold blooded natural leader Angel Eyes is just as dangerous to humanity as the Romero’s.
Roundtree
Roundtree - A member of Angel Eyes sadistic motorcycle club. Roundtree was saved at the hands of William and soon finds there is more to the creature then just his appearance.
Charlotte
Charlotte - Property of Angel Eyes is the sad life she leads. A shell of her former self Charlotte has nothing to live for until a patchwork creature by the name of William enters the picture.
Dakkar
Captain Dakkar – An old sea dog and leader of a small settlement of humans. Dakkar has traveled the world many times over and now sails in search of uninfected to offer sanctuary on his boat.
