HOW IT ALL STARTED…
“Trust me, it wasn’t easy”
Coming hot off the heels of a rejected comic book pitch, Merk, Andrew, and Matt were hungry for more. What to do? Spaceships… skip. Ninjas… pass. Zombies infused with one of the most recognizable literary characters of all time… YES!
This became the building blocks for 3inQ’s first online comic. The creative team’s intention was to write short chapters that could easily be put up on the website every couple of weeks. Merk may have rejected the writer’s first 5 page script, but they answered back with a 17 page carpel tunnel inducing first chapter that introduces us to William and the world he lives in.
The creators fashioned the story as an ongoing tale where readers could follow the character through his adventures and personal struggles of finding his own humanity. A journey we can all relate too.
